The Power Connection developed the first conference in Midland, Texas tailored to executives engaged on all fronts of the regional electric power market. Our business-focused events and newsletter platform serves decision makers in industrial power consumption and supply, equipment and service providers, infrastructure builders, investors, advisors, and regulators. Regional electrification is in the early stages of once-in-a-generation growth, and The Power Connection is here to help facilitate the advancement of a robust power supply stack matching expanding demand with unique networking and information services.

The Power Connection was formed in 2025 by two energy industry research and event veterans. Co-founders Peter Cook and Joseph Triepke recognize a need in the off-grid power sector for a premium, dedicated, and localized information sharing forum designed for capital allocators. Triepke grew up in Odessa, TX, is motivated to see the region thrive, and has spent his two-decade long career advancing knowledge in the energy industry with research, data and executive forums. Cook founded the longest running frac sand conference over a decade ago with a heavy emphasis on the region and is also known for a highly-regarded regional water executive forum he co-founded with Triepke.
