Nancy Zakhour serves as a Board Member of Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPIH), a global leader in pre-insulated piping and leak detection systems, where she is a member of the Board’s Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. She is a dynamic energy executive with experience in oil and gas, renewable energy, and investment banking, bringing a uniquely integrated perspective on the evolving global energy landscape.

Nancy currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Clean Energy Services (CES), a leading O&M service provider for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and utility-scale solar assets that FlexGen Power Systems acquired in April 2026 and now operates as a FlexGen subsidiary. In addition, she is a Venture Partner at Ascent Energy Ventures and a leader and advisor in the Houston energy and startup community.

Her career began in the Texas oilfield as a completion field engineer for Schlumberger, which took her around the world to India, Egypt, Malaysia, and Siberia. While working full-time at Callon Petroleum as a completion engineering advisor, Nancy earned her MBA from Rice University. She later joined Occidental Petroleum, where she served as Well Design Lead for the company’s Permian Delaware assets, overseeing drilling, completion, and production across more than a million acres. She then became Business Development Manager at Oxy Low Carbon Ventures and subsequently moved into investment banking at Piper Sandler.

Nancy serves as a Lecturer at both Rice University and the University of Houston-Downtown, where she teaches MBA classes on Digital Transformation, Managerial Decision Making, and leadership topics. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Rice University. She is the recipient of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Regional Completions Optimization and Technology Award and Hart Energy’s 40 Under Forty Award.
