Deal flow continues in the Permian (though perhaps a little quieter than last week!).  One item that jumped out at me this week is the article “Does Texas Have the Energy to Reindustrialize?” which brings to mind that the Permian Power Connection Conference and the opportunities in the Permian are by no means limited to data centers, bitcoin, and oilfield electrification.  Those capacity demands are severely impacting manufacturing, industrial, construction, and other companies who need reliable power.  That is creating great opportunities for power providers as well, and we’re going to be talking about all of those opportunities at the conference.

Check out the updated agenda for the Permian Power Connection Conference.  We are pleased to announce that Deputy Secretary of Energy James Danly will be addressing the attendees!  In addition, we added some great new speakers in the past week, including:

  • U.S. Air Force Brigadier General (Ret.) Damon Feltman
  • Frank Koller, Vice President of Power Development, Oxy Low Carbon Ventures
  • Matthew Herpich, Managing Director & CEO, Conduit Power
  • Gideon Powell, Chairman & CEO, Cholla
  • Ryan Keys, Co-CEO, Triple Crown Resources
  • Eyal Aronoff, CEO, Pioneer Energy
  • Lauren Postler, Director of Strategic Growth, Space Force Association
  • Scooter Womack, Founder & CEO, Vega Energy Advisors
  • David Forsberg, Managing Partner, Ascent Energy Ventures
  • Leila Aloi, Managing Director of Corporate Diversified, Texas Capital Bank
  • Stephen Hollingshead, Managing Director, Candor LLC
  • Shyke Lowers, COO, Satokie Mining

And a warm welcome to our new sponsors this week:  Priority Power, Mesa Solutions, Tyton Power, Permian Equipment Rentals, Ascent Energy Ventures, the Odessa Economic Development Corporation, and the Odessa Chamber of Commerce!

And now, the news…
