Erika Young is Director, Business Development, for Kinder Morgan, responsible for developing new, intrastate natural gas pipelines in the US. Prior to joining Kinder Morgan in January 2025, Erika spent over six years at NextEra Energy Resources and 17 years at Enbridge, mostly in natural gas pipeline origination. She spent her early career at financial services firms in audit, accounting, and mergers & acquisitions.

Erika earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Xavier University of Louisiana and an MBA from Tulane University.

Originally from New Orleans, Erika currently resides in Houston with her husband, Brian, and loves being an empty nester now that their two sons, Jalen (22) and Julian (19) are away at college.
