The 2026 Permian Power Connection Conference is almost here!
We are on track for over 800 registrants at the event. However, there is still time to encourage your clients, contacts, and top vendors to participate. Letβs make this the best conference of 2026!
If you are attending, we want you to have a great conference, so here are some quick tips:
- Weather. The forecast looks great for you to enjoy our outdoor exhibits, where 20 companies are showcasing equipment. In addition to the equipment to see, there will be food trucks, grills, shade, games, bars, and picnic tables outside! Currently there is no rain and light wind in the outlook on the conference days, but it will be sunny and warm outside with temps reaching the low-90s (luckily West Texas heat is dry heat!).
- Dress Code. Attire at our events is typically business professional (meaning sport coat or suits but no tie for the men), but we do have an outdoor exhibit area full of equipment to walk (plus axe throwing, putting greens, corn hole, BBQ grilling outdoors, food trucks, etc.). We want you to be comfortable walking the exhibits, and it’ll be warm outside, so nice polos or button downs with jeans should be fine for most attendees. Dress it up with a sport coat when sitting in for the main indoor speaker sessions. Speakers will typically wear sport coats or suit jackets over slacks or nice jeans.
- Photography & Media. We have invited some local press to attend and cover the event, but national / mainstream press is not participating. We will have a professional photographer documenting the event (James Durbin’s Oilfield Photographer team) and a live gallery of the event photos will be in the conference app and on the website – we encourage you to use photos however you wish. There is also going to be a professional headshot booth at the conference – take advantage of this attendee benefit to get a current headshot for your profiles or professional use!
- Food & Drinks Provided. Monday June 8th lunch will be served outside only in the expo area from our food trucks, caterer and some of our sponsors grilling at their exhibits. We will close out the day with open bars in both the indoor exhibit and outdoor exhibit areas. On Tuesday June 9th, we’ll start with breakfast burritos catered by our favorite, JumBurrito, lunch will be provided inside and outside, and we’ll close out the event with open bars inside and outside. Coffee, refreshments, and beverage stations will be easy to find throughout the day and be sure and stop by the indoor espresso trailer for your favorite caffeinated beverage any time during the event!
- Live Auction For Charity. Get a tax deduction and some great additional exposure by donating to the Live Auction benefiting the Bettering Human Lives Foundation! Check it out here and talk to your management before arrival to see how much they’d be willing to bid for the lunches with CEOs we are auctioning off (some of these items could be hugely valuable to your business, plus it supports a great cause and has tax benefit!).
- Download the conference app. If you are registered, you should receive an email from our conference app platform on how to access. The app includes the attendee list, matchmaking features, scheduling meetings, customizing your personal conference agenda, speaker bios, notifications, schedule, sponsors and much more – it’s a valuable benefit of your registration, so make sure and get it on your phone before you head to the event. If you cannot find the email invite to the app, ping our team for help.
- Agenda Overview. Unless you are arriving early to set up an exhibit booth or outside equipment, the conference kicks off at 10:30am on Monday, June 8th. Most of our content will be on the rotating stages in the Exhibit Hall, so you will want to review the agenda closely and make sure you are in the right place for the sessions you want to attend. Evenings are free on both days, leaving you open for client dinners and informal networking on your own.
